Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations promptly.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with takeout orders
  • Help ensure smooth flow of service
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous restaurant experience is an asset but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Schedule: Flexible, evenings and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
