Job Summary:

TP-Link Canada is searching for a Retail Account Manager to assist with the management of our growing Canadian retail business. You will manage the day-to-day customer needs of National and Regional retailers in the Consumer Electronics space, conduct quarterly business reviews, and achieve growth and revenue targets. This role will work cross-functionally with our Operations, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to drive activities that support retailers. You are expected to have a good understanding of your accounts and their objectives, build strong relationships that allow you to influence at all levels, evaluate sales trends, monitor competitive price, and manage day-to-day business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain superior external customer relationships
  • Analyse relevant sales in/sales out, stock on hand, and all available data to identify underlying trends and immediate sales opportunities
  • Meet and exceed all sales objectives while expanding brand growth
  • Act as the company representative to ensure business partner demands are met with a focus on improving customer experience
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
  • Some travel may be required within the Toronto area
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailer partners and distributors to grow TP-Link's presence in omnichannel.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, shopper marketing, and promotional opportunities. through strong leadership, clear communication, and prompt feedback.
  • Own the development and presentation of sales line reviews, internal/external business reviews, promotional strategy/cadence, and retail insights.
  • Own forecasting of spend, sell-in, and sell-out for all managed retailers.
  • Provide key inputs for account-specific demand planning.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Sales, Business Development, or Account Management background in Consumer Electronics required
  • Excellent communication, Proven selling and negotiation skills, Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Strong relationships or prior experience working with National or Regional retailers in Canada.
  • Proven success in achieving aggressive sales goals
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian retail landscape and what best-in-class account management looks like
  • Experience working in the consumer electronics industry in Canada is highly preferred
  • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources, is innovative, and works with a sense of urgency
  • Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt in a progressive, changing, and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage priorities
