Summary

As the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Partner Marketing, Direct-to-Consumer team. This team is responsible for maximizing channel presence of the Bell Media brands by developing and executing partnership marketing programs that drive subscriber growth, revenue and engagement with our Platform Partners (LG, Samsung, Sony, and more) and Digital Distribution Partners (Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Google, Roku and more).

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the streaming and Pay TV landscape and understand how to use paid and earned marketing to drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of partner organic marketing tactics to maximize subscriber acquisition during key content and offer periods.
  • Plan and execute on platform paid media advertising.
  • Present and sell-in programming opportunities and marketing recommendations directly to partners to drive short term and long-term goals/objectives.
  • Lead with a ROI mindset to ensure marketing tactics drive subscription, activation and engagement targets while adhering to brand guidelines, market data and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Manage campaigns from conception through delivery, including drafting creative briefs, establishing and maintaining project timelines and workback schedules, overseeing creative review, and securing approvals across marketing, programming and department leadership.
  • Develop campaign post-mortems, monitor campaign performance and maintain standardized marketing valuation processes by regularly analyzing and gathering subscriber insights (acquisition, engagement, churn and retention) and track KPI's.
  • Manage relationships and processes with internal teams/departments (marketing, creative agency, distribution, programming, product, legal, and finance) for short/long-range planning, strategic alignment and day-to-day operations.
  • Manage campaign marketing budgets.
Critical Qualifications
  • 4-year College/University degree or equivalent; Business, Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Strategy.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Marketing role with strategic and tactical experience in subscriber acquisition/retention, brand management, and marketing communications.
  • Strong working knowledge of the media landscape and OTT products.
  • Exceptional analytical skills; strong focus on ROI.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders, as well as initiate and drive change.
  • Highly energetic team player with the ability to work collaboratively within the Partner Marketing team and cross-functionally with other key stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to adapt to a demanding, rapidly changing work environment, set priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
