Job Overview
The FMB Wellness Trainer will assist the FMB team in delivering wellness programs to community-based organizations and our senior community in the central to western region of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Duties
When required, accommodate traveling to meet with FMB contact at various locations on their own.
Assist with the setting up and dismantling of FMB equipment at respective locations.
Assist with the development and conducting of physical and cognitive routines for
personal and group wellness sessions (Non-Contact Boxing / Functional Movement
(Mobility) and Brain Training).
Assist FMB with the conducting of any promotional events in the western GTA.
Contract based work with flexible hours
Must have access to a vehicle
Skills
- Must have a kinesiology or other wellness education background.
- Exposure to any form of combat sport or functional movement (mobility) would be an asset.
- Any training or exposure to cognitive (brain) exercises.
- Experience working with our underserved communities (Seniors, those with disabilities) and kids/youth.
Location
This role will consist of FMB work being carried out at our client's locations in the Western GTA (Etobicoke, North York and Mississauga) and virtual work at intern's residence.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
