- - Overhead Cranes Technician
- - Field Hydraulics Technician
Below are the job descriptions for each role:
Job Title: Overhead Cranes TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Overhead Cranes Technician to join our team. As a member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- - Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- - Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- - Perform crane inspections, repairs, installations, and respond to breakdown calls
- - Inspect hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls, and pullers
- - Display a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goals
- - Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- - Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
- - Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- - Minimum 2 years of experience
- - Electrical (309a/442a) or Mechanical (433a) License is an asset
- - Critical thinking skills
- - Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written
- - Current driver's license in good standing
- - Lifting up to 50lbs
- - Willingness to work overtime
Job Title: Field Hydraulics Technician
We are seeking skilled Hydraulics Millwright Field Technicians to join our team. As a member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for field installations, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities:
- - Provide expert technical guidance and support for field installations, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- - Conduct on-site evaluations to analyze systems, equipment, and processes
- - Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- - Prepare field service reports, and inspection checklists, and submit accurate time sheets and expense reports
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
- - Strong experience with heavy machinery background
- - Strong background in machine assembly, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid power
- - Ability to travel 75% of the year (international and local)
- - Valid passport and driver's license
- - Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
- - Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- - Minimum 2 years of experience
