Personal Support Worker (PSW) – St. Thomas, ON

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) living in St. Thomas to join our team. This role offers 40 hours one week per month to start, with the potential for additional hours as our client base grows.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities

Support clients with mobility, meal preparation and light housekeeping

Offer companionship and emotional support

Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in client conditions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Valid PSW certification (or equivalent healthcare training)

Current CPR and First Aid certification

Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check

MUST HAVE VEHICLE

Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor

Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is an asset

Schedule & Compensation

Hours: 40 hours one week per month to start

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.
