Duties

  • Install, repair, and replace tires on various vehicle makes and models using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and inspections
  • Diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
  • Assist customers with tire selection, sales, and related services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
  • Perform general vehicle servicing including brake repairs, suspension work, and other mechanical repairs as needed
  • Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle tires and vehicle components during service procedures

Requirements

  • Prior experience in automotive repair or as a Service Technician is preferred
  • Dealership experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) frequently throughout the day
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Basic sales skills to recommend appropriate services and products to customers
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive attitude towards maintenance and repairs
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $18.89-$24.84 per hour

Expected hours: 17 – 30 per week
