**Heavy Equipment Operators Wanted for Remote Camps**

We are seeking experienced operators to work in remote locations, providing camps, logistics and aviation management services to clients in the resource and service sectors. This role offers a chance to leverage your expertise while experiencing diverse environments.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on winter road construction and maintenance projects in Nunavut. As an operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, graders, snowcats, water trucks, and fuel trucks.

The successful candidate will have a strong safety mindset and commitment to risk management. They will also be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, and be away from home for extended periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment on Arctic ice roads, including seasonal sea-ice routes and associated hazards
  • A valid operator license appropriate to the role (e.g., CDL or provincial equivalents for drivers; equipment-specific certifications for operators)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Heavy Equipment Operator Certification or documented, proven relevant experience
  • 3–5 years of Arctic ice-road experience
  • Prior experience working in a remote camp setting
