Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, experience with dental and medical office systems, and excellent communication abilities. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional front desk support, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates with background in dental or medical offices, proficiency in electronic medical records, and familiarity with office software are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling multi-line phone systems
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix
- Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and other administrative data
- Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and ensure a welcoming environment for patients
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to facilitate smooth office operations
- Handle correspondence, manage office supplies, and perform general administrative duties to support the team
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
Experience
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental/medical office setting preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare documentation standards
- Office experience involving multi-line phone systems, front desk operations, and administrative tasks required
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting both clinical and administrative functions is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
