Summary
We are seeking a passionate Server to join our team at Tapagria Spanish Tapas Bar in Canada. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while contributing to our mission of delivering authentic Spanish cuisine. Your enthusiasm for food and hospitality will help us establish a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly and attentive demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Assist with food preparation and service as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Micros POS.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
