Job description:

Servicing AB to BC - OVERNIGHT ROUTES

Duties

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues

- Ensure timely delivery of goods

Skills

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record

- Proficient in operating and maneuvering large commercial trucks

- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures

- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient delivery schedules

As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of goods and materials. Your responsibilities will include operating a commercial truck and ensuring timely deliveries. To excel in this role and you must possess a valid CDL, have experience in commercial driving.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for delivery routes
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
  • Deliver goods to customers and clients in a timely manner, ensuring proper handling of products
  • Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory and organizing stock
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies during route driving

Skills

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving
  • Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries
  • Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, forklift operation, and use of pallet jacks
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Physical strength for heavy lifting, moving items, and handling cargo equipment
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and vehicle operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
