As an
Immigration Case Manager
, you will oversee the full client file process — from intake to final submission — while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. You will manage a team of case processors, review completed work for quality and completeness, and communicate directly with clients and immigration authorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all active client files, ensuring applications are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Review and oversee work prepared by case processors, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Draft, review, and prepare immigration application packages for various programs, including:
    Temporary residence
    (work permits, study permits, visitor visas)
    Permanent residence
    (Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Family Class, etc.)
    Citizenship
    and other related immigration matters.
  • Monitor client deadlines, visa expiries, and key milestones.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and government authorities via email and phone.
  • Assess client eligibility and identify potential risks, escalating complex cases to RCIC when necessary.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client records in the case management system.
  • Ensure that all work performed is within scope and billed accurately upon completion.
  • Support training and mentorship of junior staff and contribute to process improvement within the firm.
  • Prepare or contribute to immigration news updates, client newsletters, or knowledge-sharing materials.

Essential Qualifications

  • Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)
    an asset for the position.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling Canadian immigration cases.
  • Strong understanding of IRCC procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French an asset).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead and review work from team members.
