Senior Financial Analyst, Research Planning and Analysis

1. Post secondary degree in business/accounting.
2. Professional designation (eg. CPA, CFA) or a relevant post-graduate degree (ie. MBA, Masters of Finance). (currently enrolled and/or close to completion), or equivalent relevant work experience.
3. 3 to 5 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
4. 3-5 years' of experience in financial reporting, including financial statements, audit support, reconciliations, GAAP/ IFRS/MIS, control framework etc.
5. Well developed understanding of financial systems, internal controls, general business and financial concepts.
6. Excellent communication skills, including experience with both formal and informal presentations, board reporting, executive overviews and/or narratives.
7. Demonstrated critical thinking and decision making skills.
8. Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build relationships.

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Research P&A - Studies provides financial support to project teams for assigned research projects. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist the Sr. Advisors, Research P&A - Studies to support the project's financial needs such as, but not limited to, financial analysis, accounts reconciliations, journal entries, invoicing and reporting.
The Research Planning & Analysis team provides operational and financial insight through the provision of timely and accurate information, presented in consumable formats for decision-making. We provide organizational expertise in the analysis, interpretation and integration of financial and clinical research data driving sustainable growth and efficiency across the Research Enterprise at HHS.
Monday to Friday hours/week.
