Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full time Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate medical and dental records. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in supporting both clinical procedures and administrative functions within our modern dental clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontic treatments, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained.
- Take digital X-rays, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration; monitor patient comfort throughout procedures.
- Manage patients chart and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on dental procedures and post-treatment care using appropriate dental terminology.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and assisting with billing or coding when necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills directly contribute to patient health and satisfaction while supporting the overall success of our practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
