Senior Administrative Assistant – Full Time

Hours & Flexibility:

This position offers a flexible schedule (30–40 hours per week) and a hybrid work setup — primarily remote, with some in-office time each week in Osoyoos for meetings and coordination.

Wangler Electric is a fast-growing electrical and smart home company serving the South Okanagan. We're looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to take a leading role in managing office operations, supporting our management team, and helping keep projects organized and efficient.

Position Overview:

As our Senior Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in coordinating the flow of information between our office and field teams. You'll manage day-to-day operations, oversee scheduling, and help implement systems that keep our growing company running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative operations and support management with project coordination
  • Oversee scheduling for crews and service calls
  • Prepare and track invoices, quotes, and purchase orders
  • Organize and maintain company files, records, and reports
  • Assist with payroll, job costing, and expense tracking
  • Communicate with suppliers, clients, and contractors
  • Identify and improve administrative processes for better efficiency
  • Support internal communications, marketing coordination, and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative or office management experience (construction or trades industry an asset)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Jobber, QuickBooks, or similar software preferred
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative
