Toronto, Ontario, Canada Samsara Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Senior Performance Marketing Manager to join our team and help us drive customer acquisition and business growth through Paid Search (PPC) and related performance channels.

This role will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of performance marketing campaigns, with a focus on capturing high-intent search traffic, rigorous experimentation, optimization, and delivering measurable impact on pipeline and revenue. You'll play a key role in scaling our search ads programs, partnering closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to identify valuable customer segments, develop targeted campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and personalize ad copy that drives engagement and pipeline.

The right candidate is hands-on, analytical, and excited to uncover new growth opportunities while continuously improving cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS) across multiple platforms. This is a high-impact role that's critical to achieving our growth goals, and an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves data-driven problem solving, and is motivated by owning outcomes from start to finish.

While the initial scope will be focusing on paid search, we appreciate experiences with other performance marketing channels, and provide opportunity to expand scope for the right candidate.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Canada.

Chase Wells is this hiring manager for this role.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a data-driven customer acquisition and expansion strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), and other search platforms.
  • Experiment with new channels to uncover new growth frontiers.
  • Own end-to-end campaign strategy and execution—from ideation and audience targeting to ads trafficking, creative optimization and performance analysis.
  • Use A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve ad creative, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
  • Leverage performance data to inform keyword selection, ad copy, campaign structure, and bidding approaches that drive performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze and present campaign results, implementing recommendations to optimize performance and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the Sales, Marketing Ops, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, and the Regional Marketing Teams to create integrated campaigns to achieve our goals.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Paid Search; SEO, Paid Social or Programmatic Display experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in building campaigns and ads directly in platform-native tools (e.g.,Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Search Ads 360).
  • Skilled in trafficking ads, implementing tags in Google Tag Manager and website.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decisions and prioritize roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to build performance marketing channels from the ground up, with a strong focus on high-impact, high-return initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and creative teams.
  • High level of ownership and accountability, with experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fluency in Spanish and experience working with international markets and global campaigns is a plus.
