Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Location: Montreal, QC

Job Schedule: Day Shift

Essential Functions:

L3Harris MAPPS is looking for a Financial Analyst who will take part in monthly accounting cycle and reporting for our Montreal/Ottawa business area. The candidate will also provide support for the full accounting cycle and reporting of programs for other international Business Areas. The ideal candidate will therefore need to be detail oriented, possess an analytical mind and be able to thrive in a fast pace environment in order to meet deadlines.

Participate in accounting month-end close process for both Montreal entity and international entities (journal entries, account reconciliations & variance analysis);Participate in the preparation of monthly/quarterly reports for management and corporate;Track, control and analyze cost performance for programs;Update and communicate performance data to division management team;Review schedules/invoices and analyze program cash flow forecasts;Provide financial analysis for audits and other financial activities;Any other related duties.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA an asset;Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting/finance role;Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;Experience with ERP software Infor LN and/or ERP implementation is an asset;

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in mutli-currency accounting environments;Highly developed analytical mind;Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities; Attention to detail with strong accounting and finance skills;Ability to work under pressure;Focused on teamwork and collaboration;Excellent communication skills in English and French, both orally and in writing.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
