We are currently seeking a Azure Cloud Platform Architect (remote) to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

• Partner with other architects and SMEs contributing guidance and architectural oversight for cloud & Containers technologies and other related tools & services which works directly in conjunction to these.
• Participate in due diligence & design sessions sharing opinion, solution patterns and alternatives evaluation for Cloud Services including ARO and AKS
• Propose best practices, compliance and regulatory requirements for these services covering security, cost , operational and other non-functional requirements.
• Lead engineering efforts to provision, test, administer and operate the platform/infrastructure
• Embedded and champion DevSecOps principles ( CI/CD pipelines, IaC etc.) to provision and maintain scalable and HA cloud solution components and applications ensuring compliance and security, cost optimization, operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ year of experience in design and implementation of Azure cloud platforms at scale.
• 3+ years of experience in container technology implementations particularly Azure Kubernetes Services and self-hosted Kubernetes services through automation tools.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure security technologies.
• Hands on experience in Azure cloud native services and tools (across compute, storage and network layers + ARO/AKS).
• Hands on experiences in Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitOps implementing DevSecOps native principles for cloud and containerized platforms and application pipelines.
• Experience in any popular scripting languages.
