Job Description: The Privileges and Credentialing Associate is responsible for performing key functions within the Chief Medical Officer portfolio, including maintaining the effective day-to-day administration of the Practitioner Staff Bylaws. This includes the credentialing and privileging of any new and all existing members of the practitioner staff: 2650+ practitioners and 500+ residents in the Province. The Associate is also accountable for the administration of the reappointment and periodic review processes under the Bylaws . The Associate coordinates discipline, behavior and competency review processes with the Area Chief of Staff. The Associate responds to requests for confidential references on Practitioner Staff members based on review of the credentials/personnel file.

Experience
- Experience in health care
- 1 year of progressively responsible administration experience
Education
- Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
- Business Administration diploma (DBA)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Human Resources is acceptable
- Human Resources diploma is acceptable
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
