Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our growing team. This hands-on role is critical for driving market adoption of our Toxin Alert platform. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and building a robust sales pipeline to successfully onboarding new clients and ensuring their long-term success. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder with deep roots in the seafood or aquaculture industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Outreach & Pipeline Management:
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients, including shellfish farmers, aquaculture associations, and regulatory agencies, through targeted outreach (calls, emails, site visits).
- Build, manage, and continuously grow a healthy sales pipeline using our CRM system to track leads and opportunities from first contact to close.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate the value and benefits of the Toxin Alert platform for the client's specific operational needs.
- Lead negotiations, prepare quotes and proposals, and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Customer Onboarding & Success:
- Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring they are properly trained and can seamlessly integrate our platform into their workflow.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to technical or logistical issues.
- Develop strong, long-lasting customer relationships by proactively checking in, gathering feedback, and ensuring our solution continues to meet their needs.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to inform future improvements and innovations.
Industry Engagement:
- Represent Sensoreal at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and strengthen our market presence.
- Maintain an expert understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer challenges within the aquaculture and seafood safety sectors.
Qualifications:
- Required: A minimum of 3-5 + years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience within the aquaculture, shellfish, or seafood industry. You must have an established understanding of the industry's operations and challenges.
- Proven track record of building a sales pipeline and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for pipeline management and reporting.
- A customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills and experience in a customer-facing support or success role.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Marine Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to drive results.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
