Robertson is seeking a skilled Communications Specialist III to join our client

Contract Period:
12 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate:
Starting From $32 per hour

Location
:  Toronto, ON

Hybrid: 4 days on-site  

Business Hours:
 Monday to Friday – core business hours

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans and produce content for various business initiatives - e.g., sales campaigns, conferences, product launches
  • Act as the communications lead with project teams, providing strategic counsel and sound communications advice and regularly 
    advising partners of communication strategy status
  • Work with colleagues to 
    identify distribution efficiencies and build these into channel-specific content
  • Draft and edit a variety of content including sales tools, brochures, product overviews, special reports, press releases, website copy, and other communications as 
    required
  • Oversight of BAU or regular communication vehicles, such as newsletters, where applicable
  • Contribute to the development of standards for content including look and feel, tone, focus, audience, relevance,
  • Maintain
     a working knowledge and its products, including Mutual Funds and ETFs, and product trends within the investment industry, and conduct comparisons
  • Build and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders including sales teams, product, 
    creative, legal and compliance

Experience & Qualification Requirements:
 

  • Ability to produce professional messages that are tailored to audience needs and support the overall success of the business
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofing and presentation skills, with an ability to synthesize and summarize details quickly and leverage the power of words in a variety of media
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, and with exposure to social media
  • 2+ years of relevant experience mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, or investment industry
  • Bilingualism (English/French)
