Early Childhood Educator (Full-Time 37.5 hours weekly) – Richmond, BC
Starting wage $25.95-$26.83 per hour (plus an additional $4 per hour from Government wage enhancement program)

YOUR IMPACT:
· Supervise children and ensure equipment and physical environment is free of health and safety hazards.
· Encourage independence, problem solving skills, and active learning to build self-esteem in an inclusive and respectful environment.
· Demonstrate positive adult/child interaction using effective and appropriate communication with children.
YOUR CAPABILITIES:
· Early Childhood Education Certificate, with over three years of experience supporting children and families, including those with special needs
· Post-Basic Special Needs Certification, with valuable experience supporting children requiring additional assistance will be considered a strong asset.
· Knowledge and understanding of British Columbia's Early Learning Framework (ELF)
· Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and nonverbal communication
· Demonstrated ability and experience to deliver inclusive programming with a sensitivity to people from diverse cultural, health and socioeconomic backgrounds.
· Holds current certification in CPR and First Aid.
· A clear and current Criminal Records Check is required.
