Position: QE- Python/SQL

Location: Toronto ON

Skills: Python Automation, Robot, SQL

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools in Python to validate data flows and business rules across ETL pipelines.
  • Create and execute automated test cases for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and end to end data integrity.
  • Develop basic to intermediate SQL queries (or learn on the job) for data profiling, reconciliation, and defect analysis across source, staging, and target systems.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and QA to understand data models, mappings, and transformations, and translate them into test scenarios and automation coverage.
  • Monitor scheduled ETL jobs, investigate failures, and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution for data quality issues.
  • Document test plans, automated scripts, and test results, and contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks and best practices.
