On behalf of our Financial Services/Banks client, People Force is searching for a
Solution Architect
for a fulltime role. This position is a hybrid position with onsite presence at our client's Mississauga, On office , 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the architectural design of large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation programs aligned to business objectives.
  • Own the solution lifecycle end-to-end—from initial concept and planning through to deployment—ensuring both technical soundness and business alignment.
  • Act as a trusted architectural advisor and decision-maker across domains including business, applications, infrastructure, and security.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners to establish architectures that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop detailed architecture deliverables, including blueprints and solution designs, to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, technology strategies, and industry regulations.
  • Exposure on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementations, including data models, integrations, and customization best practices.
  • Guide the adoption of API-first and microservices-based designs, leveraging Microsoft Azure and cloud-native approaches.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure the creation of secure, reusable, and high-quality components.
  • Support modernization initiatives by addressing technical debt and evolving legacy platforms.
  • Mentor and guide delivery teams—including development, infrastructure, and operations—ensuring architectural consistency and delivery success.
  • Present and explain architectural decisions clearly to both technical and business audiences.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Solution Architect, preferably within the financial services sector (exposure to lending, banking, or insurance is an asset).
  • Proven track record leading transformation programs in a Lead Architect role.
  • Exposure on designing and delivering solutions on Salesforce, with proficiency in Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Lightning, and Marketing Cloud (SFMC), is highly desirable
  • Strong expertise in APIs, microservices, ESBs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including cloud infrastructure, IAM, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements (PCI, SOC 2), and hybrid security best practices.
  • Ability to balance tactical solution delivery with long-term strategic goals and enterprise standards.
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively across business and IT, in both agile and hybrid delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Professional certifications (TOGAF, Azure Architect, Salesforce) are highly valued.
