JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Owner at Argano will lead the discovery, problem definition and delivery of a functional area within a homebuilder product. Specifically, the focus will be in the configuration, integration and support of the Oracle Cloud PPM and Procurement applications.  They will be responsible for participating in the entire product lifecycle, from planning and development to validation and support for their functional area. As the Product Owner, they will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, and product owners of other functional areas to define the product vision, prioritize features, and deliver a scalable product tailored to the unique needs of the homebuilding industry. They will be instrumental in identifying and validating AI use cases that deliver measurable business value, ensuring alignment with both user needs and broader business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and own the product roadmap for their respective functional area in the new system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable user stories and features.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and user feedback.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of product increments in collaboration with agile development teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and Oracle Cloud advancements.
  • Plan for ongoing support and maintenance of the product.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 

EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Certification in Oracle Cloud PPM
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Financials or Procurement a plus
  • Background or experience working with or consulting homebuilder organizations or construction financials.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software product development (3+ years).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Applications and PaaS Tools (Apex, VBCS, ATP) a plus.
