Position Summary:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and works closely with project managers and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue client invoices and progress billings in alignment with project schedules.
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding accounts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Process payments, apply receipts, and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Communicate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
  • Assist with documentation for insurance, restoration, and construction billing.
  • Maintain organized digital records in accordance with company and audit standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or construction accounting.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with restoration or insurance billing is a strong asset.
