Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a focus on creating delicious, high-quality pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking pizzas to perfection, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients including dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings.
  • Cook pizzas in accordance with established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all dishes served.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to help others in the kitchen when needed.
