Abacus Instructor

is is a part-time, on-site role as a Abacus Instructor at Best Brains Scarborough Morningside, ON.

As a Course Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching children the ABACUS program, which includes using the Abacus tool, mental arithmetic calculations, and developing visualization skills. You will guide and motivate students, monitor their progress, and provide feedback.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematics and arithmetic skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Patience and ability to adapt teaching methods to individual students
• Attention to detail and ability to create engaging lesson plans
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other instructors
• Previous teaching/tutoring experience is an asset
• Experience with Abacus or mental arithmetic is required

Saturday: 10 AM -1:10 PM
