Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using power tools and hand tools.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber with relevant certifications or licenses.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools commonly used in plumbing work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as needed.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
