Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator- Bobcat Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal operations during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of snow removal equipment. The Snow Plow Operator-Bobcat Plow Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining clear and accessible parking lots , laneways and some sidewalks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow plows and other related equipment to remove snow and ice from laneways, parking lots, and pathways.
  • Must be available at any time of the day (on call)
  • Must have a G class drivers license
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to the "main" property in Hamilton
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding equipment status and any issues encountered during operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while operating machinery.

Skills

  • Knowledge of the Hamilton and Dundas area
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks over extended periods.
