Job Summary:
We're currently seeking an experienced Dealership Controller/Junior Controller to help assist out accounting operations and support our continued growth with our automotive Dealerships. This is a key leadership position that plays a central role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our dealership.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Oversee all dealership accounting and financial reporting functions.
· Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, forecasts, and budgets.
· Manage cash flow, floorplan financing, and manufacturer financial reporting.
· Ensure compliance with regulations, GAAP, and OEM requirements.
· Supervise and mentor the accounting team, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and office staff.
· Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and support year-end audits.
· Collaborate with department managers to analyze performance and improve profitability.
· Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across all financial operations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred but not required).
· Dealership experience is a MUST.
· 5+ years of automotive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
· Strong understanding of dealership accounting schedules, floorplan management, and manufacturer reporting.
· Proficiency in CDK Global, and other dealership management software.
· Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
· High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
