Job Summary:

The Collision Estimator is responsible for greeting customers, inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate and detailed repair estimates, communicating with insurance companies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role focuses on estimate accuracy, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between the front office, insurance partners, and production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and gather vehicle and accident information
  • Perform visual inspection and document all visible damage
  • Take photos and pre-scan the vehicle when required
  • Write accurate and complete estimates using CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex
  • Explain the repair process and estimate to customers
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters for approvals and supplements
  • Update estimates based on teardown or additional findings
  • Ensure all labor, parts, materials, and operations are included
  • Work with parts department to verify pricing and availability
  • Maintain documentation for OEM procedures and insurance requirements
  • Follow up with customers during the repair process and provide status updates
  • Support the production team with any estimate-related clarifications
  • Help manage cycle time and maintain high customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of collision estimating experience (DRP experience is an asset)
  • Proficient with CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex
  • Knowledge of OEM repair procedures, ADAS, and structural vs. non-structural repairs
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to negotiate with insurance adjusters professionally
  • English required; Chinese is an asset
  • Valid driver's license
  • I-CAR or OEM certifications preferred

Work Schedule:

Full-time, standard business hours, occasional Saturdays.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
