Job Summary

We are looking for a bilingual (English and French) Product Specialist who is passionate, driven, and eager to make an impact. In this role, you will be instrumental in understanding, promoting, and enhancing our products to meet customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Respond to emails, client inquiries, and phone calls while managing sales interactions and problem-solving efficiently.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, attend trade shows and customer visits, and handle shipping and other administrative tasks.
  • Learn company products thoroughly, including their features, specifications, and applications.
  • Provide accurate product information and support to both internal teams and external customers.
  • Conduct or assist with product demonstrations and presentations that highlight key features and benefits.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Record and maintain accurate inventory data, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
  • Generate analytical reports to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing operations.
  • Complete all necessary documentation related to product tracking, labeling, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to support product initiatives and promotions.
  • When required, safely handle, package, and label products for storage or shipment.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to transport products within the warehouse.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and promptly report any safety concerns or hazards to management.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Skilled in drafting letters, managing email correspondence, and generating detailed reports.
  • Familiar with shipping and receiving processes and related documentation.
  • Capable of handling telephone and email inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with excellent speaking and writing abilities.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Forklift license preferred; training can be provided if necessary.
  • Knowledge of product or market specialization is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
