Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine painting requirements
  • Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Perform restoration work on surfaces as needed
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences
  • Manage time efficiently to complete projects within deadlines

Skills

  • Proficient in construction painting techniques for both residential and commercial projects
  • Knowledge of rigging and safe handling of materials
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in painting tasks
  • Strong carpentry skills to assist with surface preparation and repairs
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally
  • Knowledge of industrial painting processes is a plus
