Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene. Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
  • Ensure all dishes are cleaned efficiently and returned to proper storage areas.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
  • Support kitchen staff by maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping floors and disposing of waste properly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Restock supplies such as dish soap, towels, and cleaning materials as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cleaning or food service environments is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including food handling and preparation, is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
