CSA Designer
to join our dynamic team and contribute to one of our major client projects.

YOUR MISSIONS:

  • Prepare detailed earthwork and grading designs for oil and gas facilities including well pads, compressor stations, tank farms, substations, and access roads.
  • Develop detailed structural design drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D modeling tools such as PDMS, E3D, or Tekla.
  • Perform cut and fill analysis, site leveling, and material volume calculations.
  • Design and model drainage systems, stormwater management features, and erosion control measures.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (piping, mechanical, electrical) to ensure design compatibility.
  • Review and incorporate geotechnical, civil, and architectural input into the earthwork design.
  • Apply relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, API, CSA, ASCE, ASTM, ISO).
  • Work with engineers to interpret and implement earthwork analysis results into practical design.
  • Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with project requirements.
  • Participate in model reviews, design coordination meetings, and client presentations as needed.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in a collaborative manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Civil-Structural design in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural 3D modeling software (e.g., Tekla, SmartPlant 3D, E3D).
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards (AISC, API, CSA, etc.).
  • Experience working on EPCM projects is an asset

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., StormCAD, HEC-RAS).
  • Knowledge of GIS applications.
  • Field experience with site grading, layout, or construction support.
  • Onshore or modular structure design experience.
  • Familiarity with laser scan point cloud integration into structural design.
