LOCATION: Sioux Narrows | Nestor Falls

STARTING WAGE: $22/ hour

SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT: 2026 Lawn Season

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS

The communities of Sioux Narrows and Nestor Falls are centrally located on the eastern shores of Lake of the Woods, down Highway #71. This seasonal employment opportunity focuses on outdoor yard work and grounds maintenance. The team at Peak Management Group specializes in managing a wide range of properties to the satisfaction of the property owners.

As a grounds maintenance worker, you will maintain the defined areas as outlined below, including shrubbery, trees, paths and parking areas for the 2026 municipal grounds maintenance season. The successful candidate must have a valid G class drivers license and clean drivers abstract.

The Maintenance & Yard Worker is responsible for the following:

1) Check and maintain all areas on a weekly basis with respect to garbage strewn/ found on the grounds [eg, paper, cans, bottles and other debris (sticks, branches, etc)];

2) Cut, weed and trim all grass areas. Trim any necessary brush and remove debris each time trimming/ brushing is complete. Ensure cemetery markers are tended to; weedeated and trimmed;

3) Any damage or vandalism to property, structures or otherwise, found please report to the Township as soon as possible;

4) Other duties and tasks as may be reasonably assigned.
