Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, providing them with exceptional shopping experiences. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, showcasing products, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a retail environment.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding.
  • Engage in technology sales by promoting the latest products and services available.
  • Utilize effective merchandising techniques to display products attractively and strategically.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
  • Maintain an organized sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-stocked and presented.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone etiquette, providing information about products or services.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while managing time effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with technology sales and technical products is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • A proactive approach to upselling and engaging customers effectively.
