As a
Security Team Lead
, you'll receive industry-leading training, support for ongoing education, and daily opportunities to make a meaningful impact across a unique academic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor Security Guards during assigned shifts
  • Assign and monitor patrols of outdoor grounds, academic buildings, and residence areas
  • Lead by example in incident response, reporting, and customer service
  • Support health and wellness programming and high-profile campus events
  • Oversee training, onboarding, and continuous performance improvement
  • Coordinate with local first responders and campus departments
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain a proactive presence
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented team environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of security experience (post-secondary or healthcare preferred)
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is an asset
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
  • Current First Aid/CPR, Use of Force, and crisis training certifications
  • Valid G-Class licence with clean abstract
  • Strong communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Must not be a current Seneca student
