We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Household Manager and Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to manage household tasks efficiently. This role requires a professional who can coordinate various responsibilities, ensure smooth functioning of the household, and provide exceptional service to residents and guests. Fluency in English is essential. The Household Manager/Housekeeper will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and well-organized environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily household operations, including cleaning, laundry, and maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate and supervise residential cleaning services to ensure high standards of cleanliness
  • Manage household supplies inventory and place orders for necessary items
  • Handle scheduling of appointments, running errands, and household repairs or services
  • Maintain an organized environment through effective time management and organizational skills
  • Communicate effectively with residents and service providers to ensure all household needs are met
  • Help with petcare and walks-must like dogs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in household management or related roles within private residences or hospitality settings such as hotel housekeeping manager
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Experience in residential cleaning and or hotel/airbnb
  • Knowledge of laundry procedures and household maintenance tasks
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have a Driver License and vehicle
  • Must be willing to provide a clear criminal record check

This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of maintaining a luxurious and smoothly run household with an amazing family. You will report to the Executive Assistant and Owners of the home. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, discretion, and a passion for creating an inviting home environment.

Hours: 10am-3pm Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday is optional.

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
