Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in excellent condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment. This position is essential for supporting the overall maintenance and appearance of our commercial spaces, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures
  • Dispose of trash and recycling materials appropriately
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
  • Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues to management
  • Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively to achieve optimal results

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
