About the Role:

ETRO Construction is seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Delivery team. This role is responsible for leading construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring alignment with client expectations, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager oversees project financials, schedules, and quality outcomes while fostering collaboration among internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

As a key leader within the project team, the Project Manager acts as a mentor, communicator, and problem solver-driving operational excellence through proactive planning, strategic decision-making, and clear leadership. This position offers an opportunity to lead complex projects while contributing to ETRO's reputation for technical precision, accountability, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators, supporting their professional growth and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Actively participate in ETRO's People Builder Program as both a Coach and a Player.
  • Oversee subcontractor tendering, award, and procurement processes.
  • Manage change order pricing, negotiations, and approvals with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Develop, monitor, and update construction schedules in collaboration with site teams.
  • Establish and maintain procurement and submittal logs with support from the Project Coordinator.
  • Prepare and issue monthly progress invoices and manage project financials and forecasts.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective strategies to maintain timelines and budgets.
  • Review and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices.
  • Ensure all work meets ETRO's quality standards, drawings, and specifications.
  • Promote health and safety by supporting site safety initiatives, inspections, and toolbox talks.
  • Chair project meetings with internal and external teams, providing progress and budget updates.
  • Oversee project closeout, ensuring documentation and financial reconciliation are completed accurately and on time.

What You Bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience managing complex construction projects.
  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, and financial systems.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship experience with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • A commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
