Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our water and sewer team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the overall operations of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. As a Laborer, you will play an essential role in ensuring that work sites are organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring all materials and tools are readily available.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must have own transportation.
- Must have valid license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
