Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front End Associate to join our team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer transactions, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming front area. This role is perfect for individuals with restaurant experience, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for the food service industry. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cashiering, and upselling while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a timely manner
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
  • Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure cleanliness and compliance
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain an organized and clean front counter area, including food prep stations
  • Handle cash register operations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly
  • Assist with food handling duties, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed during food preparation and serving
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Understanding of sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 8 per week
