Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Healthcare Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility by managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties

  • Work closely with the Healthcare Coordinator to assist in the development , implementation and maintenance and evaluation of the healthcare programs
  • Schedule , confirm, and attend patient appointments
  • Assist in the management of day to day operations and ensure appropriate staff development
  • Maintain medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current Registration with CNO and Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
  • Current/ Valid Drivers License ON
  • Supervisory / Management experience in a long term care or Retirement Facility
  • Infection Control and Palliative Care Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to healthcare administration.
