Overview

This position is for the Edson / Drayton Valley Area

The Fuel Truck Operator is responsible for the short haul of bulk fuel in tandem or tri-drive trucks, which will involve various deliveries throughout Central Alberta. The Truck operator needs to be flexible, as shift work may be required in order to accommodate different delivery needs. The Truck Operator is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and cleaning the truck to Company standards. The qualified candidate will be able to meet the physical demands of the job, which mainly involves lifting/pulling hoses and moving 45 Gallon drums.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Clean Class 1
  • Must be able to lift lbs.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary
  • Must be able to work all shifts as scheduled
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol and medical screening
  • Must be comfortable with road and driver facing dash cameras

Preferred Qualifications

  • Class 1 preferred
  • Fluid experience preferred
  • Off-road experience preferred
  • Prefer candidates that are flexible and willing to help out in other areas of operations (ie. oil deliveries)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour
