Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day social media activities for tossdown Canada clients (restaurants and food brands).
  • Act as the key liaison between clients and offshore design/content teams — ensuring briefs are clear, deliverables are on schedule, and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain and update monthly social media calendars across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Review and approve captions, visuals, and posts before publishing.
  • Assist in content ideation and ensure alignment with client brand tone and marketing goals.
  • Monitor engagement and community interactions; route responses or issues to the right person.
  • Track and report on social performance metrics; identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Participate in client calls or content shoots as needed to support planning and delivery.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and recommend new ideas or formats for content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in social media management or coordination (agency experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and coordinate tasks across teams and time zones.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, ChatGPT.
  • Comfortable working with offshore or remote teams and reviewing creative work for quality.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented — able to handle multiple moving parts efficiently.
  • Passion for food, restaurants, and digital storytelling is a plus
