Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to join our glass production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining glass tempering machinery, inspecting products for quality, and ensuring all safety and production standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust tempering furnace and related machinery.
  • Cut, edge, polish, and handle glass sheets safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished glass for quality, defects, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
  • Load and unload glass from tempering lines or CNC machines.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
  • Previous experience in glass manufacturing, fabrication, or a similar industrial environment is an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and reading technical drawings.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
