In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be:
Preparing, delivering and attending tutorials as directed by the faculty supervisor; marking assignments and exams as directed, and conferring with the supervisor in charge as required by the assignment.
Your general location of work will be on campus for leading tutorials/remote for correcting and prep work (in consultation with your supervisor). You will report to Dr. Anne-Marie Wheeler for the tutorials, and Dr. Marie-Diane Clarke for the correcting/marking.
Required Number of Hours: Guaranteed 2 hours leading Tutorials per week until December 21st, 2025; up to 18 additional hours for corrections and prep per week (Max 20 hours per week, total)
Duration of Employment: Fall 2025 Term
Course Name, Abbreviation and Number: FREN 103 (T07 & T19) for tutorials, other courses may be assigned for correcting work (to be discussed with supervisors)
Start and End Dates: 10th November, 20205 – 31 December, 2025
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
Minimum Bachelors degree in related field, fluency in the French language, some teaching experience or past TA experience preferred.
You must be registered in a graduate program.
