Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Plow Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of operating heavy machinery and maintaining safety standards in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment operation, landscape maintenance, and general construction skills, ensuring safe and effective snow clearance for commercial or residential properties. We also require a clean driving abstract as we provide a company truck and plow.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow plow trucks and related heavy machinery to clear roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with ice melt application and other winter maintenance tasks to prevent hazardous conditions
  • Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient snow removal operations during storm events

Skills

  • Proven experience operating excavators, snow plows, or similar heavy machinery
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machinery operation and winter weather conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure in adverse weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in cold environments for extended periods

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
